The template licence

One licence covers every template, brush, filter, graphic style and pattern in the library. This page is the whole of it, and the version live on the day you downloaded a file is the one that governs that file.

On the free plan, credit us

Use it for anything, including work you sell. The one condition is a visible credit line wherever the work appears. In a footer, in the caption, on the credits page: somewhere a reader can find it.

If the place you are publishing genuinely has nowhere to put a line of text, that is what Pro is for.

On Pro, no credit

A Pro plan removes the credit line from everything you make while the plan is active, including work you already published. Nothing else about the licence changes.

Logos and brand identities need Pro

Using one of these files as your logo, your brand mark or your visual identity is a Pro thing. This is not us being difficult. Two people can start from the same template, and if one of them registers it as a trademark the other one is hurt, so the free plan does not open that door at all.

Nobody gets an exclusive

Every file here stays available to everyone else. Pro does not make a template yours alone, and no plan does. You also cannot trademark something that is still substantially the file we published, on any plan. Change it enough that it is your work, not ours.

The template stays here

You cannot pass the file on as a file. No re-uploading it to another template site, no folding it into an asset pack or a bundle, no selling the source as an asset. Make things with it. Do not resell it as raw material.

Fonts are not ours to license

Templates name the fonts they use and most are Google Fonts, under their own licences. Those travel with the font, not with us, and if you swap in a font you bought then its licence is the one that applies.

The boring part

This licence is not Creative Commons and that is deliberate. CC BY hands everybody a permanent right to redistribute the files, and once given it cannot be taken back. The library is the thing we built. The full terms sit at Terms, and what each plan includes is on Pricing.

If you are not sure

Ask before you ship, not after. Ask us and we will tell you straight, in writing, so you have something to point at.

Updated 31 July 2026. Files downloaded before this date keep the terms that were published on the day you downloaded them, which for anything before 31 July 2026 means no credit line was required.
